The quick-release removable core provides easy access behind the grille for installation, cleaning and maintenance, while the fixed 0° blades provide a straight-through air pattern.

Airflow Performance

The manufacturer provides tested performance data for the RCBG244 across face velocities from 1 to 8 m/s, including airflow, throw, pressure drop and NC sound rating.

For the 600 × 100 RCBG244, the published data includes:

That performance table is particularly useful. At our usual 2 m/s supply-air design point, this grille is around 85 L/s, with only 4 Pa pressure drop and an NC rating below 15 according to the supplier's test data.

Installation Note

The grille has fixed 0° blades and does not provide airflow adjustment at the grille face. Where airflow balancing is required, a suitable balancing damper should be installed within the duct system.
