Airflow Considerations

When selecting a grille, both the required airflow and the physical opening size should be considered.

As a general Airflow design guide, we typically work around 2.0 m/s for supply air and 1.5 m/s for return air when selecting grilles.

Actual airflow performance will depend on the grille free area, ductwork, system pressure and installation.

Installation Note

The grille has fixed 0° blades and does not provide airflow adjustment at the grille face. Where airflow balancing is required, a suitable balancing damper should be incorporated into the duct system.
