Airflow Engineering (SI) Ltd, known simply as ‘Airflo’, is a Christchurch based independent supplier of Heating, Ventilation and Air Movement products.

Engineering (SI) Ltd started its life as “Derek Thompson HEVAC Sales” in 1988,
and grew into Airflow Engineering (SI) Ltd in 1992. Airflo has been owned and
operated by Derek’s daughter Cherry Browne, since 1994. Airflo has continued to
expand with a wider range of product and services. The year 2000 saw the company
adopt the trading name of ‘AIRFLO’, to highlight its move into a “one-stop”
Heating and Ventilation wholesaler. 2001 Airflo invested in a flexible
duct-manufacturing machine, proving to be a solid investment. 2001 again saw
growth, with expansion into larger and higher profile premises in Carlyle
Street, Sydenham. 2005 Airflo continued to grow with new and improved product
lines, along with machinery to manufacture Airflo Grease Filters & Airflo
Electric Duct Heaters. 2006 Airflo were appointed agents for the Carrier Allied
Product range and Woods Fan stockists. 2007 Airflo was appointed a distributor
for Aircon Flange.
Airflo employs 5 staff, Chris White: Stores, Victoria Firth: Sales Linda Wells: Assistant Manager & Administration, Kevin Browne: Production Manager and Cherry Browne: General Manager. It is still a family owned and operated business, run by people who enjoy what they do, and have a passion for making Airflo an exciting place to be involved with.
Airflo are stockists of Woods Fans, agents for Carrier Allied Product, BJ Cocksedge Elements, Aircon Flange, and acts as distributors for Email Filters, Aironic Air Cleaners, Vibration Isolators, Evaporative Coolers, Duct Hardware, Rotary Ventilators, Ducting and Air Movement Accessories. In developing the Airflo Heat Transfer Kits and manufacturing Airflo Electric Duct Heaters and Airflo Flexible Ducting, Airflo Grease Filters, Airflo offers an extensive range in supplying to the HEVAC field both the domestic and commercial market.
